It does one job, fixing what you wrote, and it does it the Mac way.

Buy once

US$1.99, and it's yours.

No monthly bill, no plan to cancel, no account to sign up for. Updates are included.

Built into your Mac

Works in the apps you already use.

Private by design

Your words stay yours.

On a Mac with Apple Intelligence, your text is fixed on your Mac and never sent anywhere. GrammarFix only sees what you select, and has no tracking at all.

Sounds like you

Your style, in every app.

Tell it your rules once: the Oxford comma, a formal tone in Mail, a relaxed one in Messages, emojis or none. It fixes mistakes and keeps your voice, in 14 languages.

Three years of fixing your writing.

Questions people ask.

Is GrammarFix a Grammarly alternative for Mac?

Yes. GrammarFix fixes grammar, spelling and punctuation in the apps you already use on your Mac, for US$1.99 once on the Mac App Store, with no subscription. Select your text, press your shortcut, and the corrected version takes its place.

Is there a grammar checker for Mac without a subscription?

GrammarFix is a one-time purchase of US$1.99 on the Mac App Store. On a Mac with Apple Intelligence it uses Apple's on-device model at no further cost. On other Macs you add your own API key for OpenRouter, Anthropic or OpenAI, and that provider bills you for what you use.

Does GrammarFix need permission to read what I type?

No. GrammarFix only sees the text you select and send to it. It never asks for Accessibility access, the permission Grammarly and LanguageTool need to work in other apps.

Is my writing private with GrammarFix?

On a Mac with Apple Intelligence, GrammarFix fixes your text with Apple's on-device model, so it never leaves your Mac. GrammarFix has no accounts, no analytics and no tracking.

Fewer mistakes, for US$1.99 once.
